EMERGENCY SERVICE

Before You Call

Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with thousands of residential and business customers assisting them with everything from shower and tub enclosures to commercial entry doors.

In order to expedite your glass replacement quote please be ready with the following information.

What size is the glass or mirror?
If you don’t have a tape measure available, use a dollar bill which is 6” long or a sheet of copy paper which is normally 11” long. Measure horizontally and vertically inside the frame, our sales team can determine how far the glass goes into the window or door frame.

Is the glass clear or tinted?
You can easily determine the glass color by placing a broken piece on top of white sheet of paper. Typical colors for window glass include clear, green, gray, and bronze.

Do you have a single or double pane window?
Single pane glass is one layer usually between 1/8” and ¼” in thickness. Double pane glass consists of two layers of glass with approximately a ½” space between the two layers.  If the window glass is completely broken out simply look at the cross section of the glass and determine if you see one or two layers of broken shards of glass.

We stock a variety of residential door glass inserts with the glass sizes 20" x 36", 22" x 36", 20" x 64", 22" x 64", 20" x 80", and 22" x 80".

Our standard inserts come in both full lite and external grid patterns. The easiest way to determine if you have a standard size is to call us with the width and height of your door glass insert including the screwed applied frame. See the picture below.
